Samantha Rouge sat in the passenger seat, her fingers tapping rhythmically against the window. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the landscape. She glanced at Ted Brown, her boyfriend of six months, who gripped the steering wheel with focused determination. “Ted,” she said, her voice soft, “can we stop for a moment?” He glanced at her, eyebrows raised. “What’s wrong?” “Nothing,” Samantha replied, her heart racing. “I just… I want to kiss you.” Ted’s lips curved into a smile. “Right here?” “Yes,” she said, her cheeks flushing. “Right here.” He pulled the car over to the side of the road, the tires crunching on gravel. The forest loomed ahead, its trees standing tall and mysterious. Samantha climbed into the back seat, and Ted followed, their breaths mingling in the confined space.
